     Arts of the Fur Trade

     Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Point Defiance Park, 5400 N Pearl St, Tacoma

     11am-4pm.   Step back in time and discover the Arts that were once a part of daily survival.

     Experience how everyday works of art played an important part of the daily life of the mid-1800s.

     Visit  with the fort's re-enactors and artisans as they bring back skills such as spinning,

     silversmithing, blacksmithing, woodworking, open-fire cooking and Native American basket

     weaving.  Free admission.
