Madigan Army Medical Center
With nearly one million outpatient visits each year, and
averaging over 140,000 emergencies annually, Madigan continues to be
the busiest hospital in the state. The 262-bed facility includes some
of the most advanced medical equipment available anywhere in the United
States. A participant in state, county and city health planning, Madigans
expansion capacity in the new facility of 622 beds will assist in disaster
preparedness and emergency relief operations, when needed. The general

Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital & Childrens
Health Center
Founded in 1955, Mary Bridge is a 72-bed acute care pediatric
hospital caring for the special needs of children. It is the only dedicated
childrens hospital serving Lakewood, Tacoma and the communities
of southwest Washington, Mary Bridge provides inpatient medical/surgical
services, intensive care services for children, pediatric critical care
transport and is the only designated Level II pediatric trauma center

Greater Lakes Mental Health Foundation
Providing a wide array of therapeutic, preventive and informational counseling programs dedicated to improving the emotional health and effectiveness of individuals and families coping with everyday problems. Lakewood MultiCare Urgent Care
Providing medical care for patients when their doctor
is not available, Lakewood MultiCare Urgent Care treats minor illness
and injuries seven days a week and holidays except Thanksgiving and

Western State Hospital
A 1,000 bed psychiatric hospital serving the western Washington
population, Western State has three distinct clinical units: Adult Psychiatric
Unit, Geriatric Medical Unit, and the Legal Offender Unit. In addition,
we have the Program for Adaptive Living Skills (PALS) unit that assists

American Lake Division of the VA Puget Sound Health
Care System
The American Lake Division is a primary and secondary
care facility providing inpatient and outpatient care. Services include
acute general medicine, ambulatory surgery, acute psychiatry, a homeless
domiciliary program and a nursing home care unit. The VA PSHCS is affiliated
with the University of Washington, provides all levels of care and is
the tertiary and special psychiatry referral center for veterans in
the region. The VA PSHCS operates several specialized unit services
including a Radiation Therapy Center, a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit,
a Spinal Cord Injury Unit, a Center of Excellence in Substance Abuse,
